Phosphate Barrel Plating
Phosphate Barrel plating is the formation of zinc phosphate crystals on steel surfaces. Phosphate plating tends to be a relatively uniform, non-conductive coating. It can be used as a paint base or bonding surface and because it is a porous coating it can absorb and maintain a post treatment of oil which offers corrosion protection.
Howard Finishing can provide phosphate barrel coating over steel parts such as small brackets, springs, fasteners, tubes and rods.
